The trcman.exe process is an executable program file bundled with other EXE application resources, some Dynamic Link Library (DLL) modules, certain system drivers, specific background process items and various associated components that are used by the Toshiba Remote Control Manager software. This application is a Windows program classified as a bundled module with the firmware components and driver software distributions of certain Toshiba laptop models. This means the Toshiba Remote Control Manager software is an applet built into the firmware components and driver software resources that were developed for particular Toshiba laptops. The trcman.exe process is embedded into the Toshiba Remote Control Manager module as one of its component resource processes, which also means the trcman.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the associated Toshiba firmware distributions and driver software packages. This also means the trcman.exe process is integrated into the installers of these Toshiba firmware and driver software components.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. trcman.exe. is used by Toshiba Remote Control Manager Module, If you shut down trcman.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
