Toscdspd.exe is the process file for Toshiba CD/DVD Drive Acoustic Silencer, the software that runs the Toshiba Laptop CD/DVD drivers. It is Toshiba’s program for quieting sound on running optical drives. It is especially programmed to provide completely functional programming language to configure all Toshiba-made hardware. The CD/DVD Acoustic Silencer provides drivers and utilities for Toshiba laptops, devices, and peripherals, which are responsible for running the hardware pieces in the system and offer additional configuration support and options and support for devices such as sound card and graphics card, among others. Toscdspd.exe is by default installed in the machine in the time of purchase or acquisition, included in the Start Menu programs, and can be located in the local folder of the hard drive, responsible for all hardware functionalities. Other files with the same file name toscdspd.exe not in the system folder must be removed or deleted, as it is most possibly a harmful program.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. toscdspd.exe. is used by Toshiba CD/DVD Drive Acoustic Silencer, If you shut down toscdspd.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
