The process tm.exe is termed by the service name Windows Terminkalender or TM2009 or TM2008, and is a part of the application IPS-Terminkalender, which is developed by ForaSoft / IPS or Tencent. This particular file has a digital signature from Tencent Technology(Shenzhen) Company Limited - Symantec Time Stamping Services Signer - G4, which means it is not recommended to terminate, delete or stop it, because it is considered as a legitimate process that is safely installable onto computers. Unless it starts to make errors or cause problems that affect the performance of the computer system, this file must be deleted. As a Windows module, the tm.exe file is compatible with most, if not all, versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, such as Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, and Windows NT. Once the file is successfully installed onto the computer, regardless of its Windows operating system (OS), tm.exe should remain running in the background.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. tm.exe. is used by IPS-Terminkalender, If you shut down tm.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop tm.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is IPS-Terminkalender, from your system.
