ThreatFire is designed to remove all known viruses, Trojans, worms, and other harmful threats while defending the PC against adware, spyware, keyloggers, bots, and all malware in real-time monitoring and blocking. PC Tools Security has spider technology to scan, identify, and remove all threats in seconds. It warns the user about risky, phishing, and unsafe websites as it displays safety ratings to the search results. Specified automatic updates of product upgrades and services ensure the user of protection from the latest threats. PC Tools continues to develop and publish security and utility programs features and software for home consumers and corporate clients, as well as small businesses, both community and non-profit organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. tfservice.exe. is used by ThreatFire, If you shut down tfservice.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop tfservice.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ThreatFire, from your system.
