Developed by Microsoft Corporation, termsrv.dll is the system driver for Terminal Server Remote Connections Manager loaded by the svchost.exe process. TSRCM enables users to connect to terminal servers to launch applications, save files, and utilize network resources within the server which, when the user disconnects from the session, all the processes and applications running would continue running alongside the terminal server. The user’s log on mode can be configured in the way that prevents duplicate user sessions from being generated in the terminal server when planning to go offline for maintenance and/or to install new programs. TSRCM is a component of Microsoft Windows which provides the user access to applications and data over a remote computer within a network by using the RDP or Remote Desktop Protocol. Terminal Services is Microsoft Windows’ computing of the thin-client terminal server, where the Windows applications and the desktop of the PC running the TSRCM are being made accessible to the remote client machine.
