The szkg.sys process is a system file packaged with other system drivers, executable program files, modular DLL components and associated resources that are used by the STOPzilla software, which is a Windows application classified as a system security tool that was designed by iS3 with a set of functions for monitoring, detecting and protecting the system against Internet threats and security risks like Trojans, spyware applications, worms, viruses and other malicious programs. The szkg.sys file is implemented into the installer distributions of the STOPzilla software, which means the szkg.sys file is integrated into the system upon the installation of the STOPzilla application. The szkg.sys file is particularly deployed as among the system driver components that are needed by the STOPzilla program to perform some of its intended operations.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. szkg.sys. is used by iS3 STOPzilla, If you shut down szkg.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop szkg.sys, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is iS3 STOPzilla, from your system.
