What is  syntphelper.exe

Syntphelper.exe is the file executable for Synaptics Pointing Device Driver, a Windows-based touchpad or trackpad pointing device for laptop computers that includes tapping speed, sensibility adjustment, button order, and virtual scrollbar setup, among other features. With a tactile sensor, Synaptics Pointing Device has a specialized surface which translates the position and motion of the user's fingers to position points on screen. Touchpad is a space-effective substitute for the computer mouse. The capacitive touch sensing of the pointing device senses the electrical properties of the fingers touching the sensor. These capacitive touchscreens or touchpads are more responsive compared to resistive touchscreens. Capacitive touchscreens costs higher compared to standard stylus for its anti-static conductive foam. The stylus is not capable of capacitive sensing unless a tipped material is used. Some touchscreens are not to be used with gloves as it can fail to sense accurately with even a slightest amount of water on the screen.
