What is  syncservices.exe

Called by the service name Sync Windows Services, also known as SyncServices, the syncservices.exe file is a part of the software Maxtor OneTouch III, a backup and storage program, developed by Seagate Technology. This module, which is also found in Maxtor Manager software, runs in the background of a Windows computer system. If the software is installed on the system, the process syncservices.exe is also downloaded and stored on a particular folder location, usually C:\Program Files, if not C:\Documents and Settings. Once installed, this module enables its function associated with the different tasks of Maxtor OneTouch III, or Maxtor Manager. If this file is stopped, deleted or corrupted, the function assigned to it is disabled, or the entire software may not fully work. Regardless, this file must be kept stored on the computer and continuously running in the background, unless the software that bundles it is intentionally removed by the user.
