The surveyorsd.exe file is a Windows program called SurveyorSD Service Module as its service name, and a component of the software created by Verdiem Corporation, which is Surveyor Client, also known as Verdiem Surveyor Client, or simply Surveyor. The program Surveyor Client is mostly found on computers and laptops manufactured by Hewlett-Packard or HP Company. It is part of the Verdiem Surveyor power management system on HP computer devices or Client Management Solutions, which is a suite software that features different programs for commercial systems. This is developed to allow a user, as the administrator, to control and access the functionality of the Surveyor across different virtual machines or computers shared. Because of its strict policy, this program requires a licensed copy. As it is bundled within the program, the surveyorsd.exe file is considered essential. Therefore, it must remain running in the background whenever the program is launched, opened or used.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. surveyorsd.exe. is used by Verdiem Surveyor Client, If you shut down surveyorsd.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop surveyorsd.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Verdiem Surveyor Client, from your system.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as Verdiem Surveyor Client, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some application require that they have processes running all the time so they can do things such as check for updates or notify you when you get an instant message. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
