The ssaad.exe file is a Windows process termed SonicStage Atrac Hard Disk Monitor as its service name, and a component of Sonic Stage Music Manager Utility software, also Sonic.net Accelerator, Acoustica Effects Pack, Lemonade Tycoon Deluxe, MobiSystems OfficeSuite Classic, Quicken version 2001 Basic, BFD Windows Setup version 2, and Sid Meier's Civilization version 4, which is a product creation of Sony Corporation. The module ssaad.exe is also a part of the Sony Network Walkman drivers, and runs in the background to continuously monitor the activity of the hard disk, in order to detect any audio files that are added or pending to be included on the Sony player. Other than that, it has the capability to check for any movement, as well as deletion, of files, and then set the path in the compact player by Sony. As associated with the Atrac-cable devices like Walkman, MiniDisc players, and recorders, the ssaad.exe file has to remain stored on the computer, and running in the background.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ssaad.exe. is used by Sonic Stage Music Manager Utility, If you shut down ssaad.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ssaad.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Sonic Stage Music Manager Utility, from your system.
