The smss32.exe file is an executable process that has been reported by many users as a variant of the Configuration Loader malware, which is from the family of AGOBOT.MB worm programs that can compromise the stability of the infected Windows-based system and negatively affect the data security of files and folders stored in the compromised computer. Some users also claimed that the smss32.exe process is a variant of the RBOT.MS worm, which is disguised as Microsoft Internet Services. A few reports stated that the smss32.exe file is a variant of the RBOT.CB worm, which is disguised as a legitimate Windows Update component, while some reports claimed that the smss32.exe process is integrated with adware downloading functionalities and classified as a variant of the USbD Adware Downloader malware.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. smss32.exe. is used by Adware Downloader USbD Malware and Configuration Loader AGOBOT.MB Worm and Microsoft Internet Services RBOT.MS Worm and Windows Update RBOT.CB Worm, If you shut down smss32.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop smss32.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Adware Downloader USbD Malware and Configuration Loader AGOBOT.MB Worm and Microsoft Internet Services RBOT.MS Worm and Windows Update RBOT.CB Worm, from your system.
