The sldimscheduler.exe file is an executable process integrated with other modular resources, program files and system drivers that are required by the SolidWorks software, which is a program classified as a 3-dimensional CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tool developed by Dassault Systems with a set of features for creating 3D engineering designs and simulating certain situation-specific conditions into CAD projects that were authored with the use of this application. The sldimscheduler.exe process is deployed into the installer distribution packages of the SolidWorks 3D CAD software, which also means the sldimscheduler.exe process is stored in the system upon the installation of the Dassault Systems SolidWorks program. The sldimscheduler.exe process is specifically implemented as part of the Dassault Systems SolidWorks Installation Manager module, which is built into the SolidWorks application in order to integrate auto updating and upgrade installation prompting functionalities into the software that can be activated upon user request.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. sldimscheduler.exe. is used by Dassault System SolidWorks and Dassault Systems SolidWorks Installation Manager, If you shut down sldimscheduler.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop sldimscheduler.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Dassault System SolidWorks and Dassault Systems SolidWorks Installation Manager, from your system.
