The shieldclnt.exe process is also called Shield Client Service, and other variants of the shieldclnt.exe process are executable files that belong to the software Rollback Rx, EAZ-FIX and the Radix Reload program. This EXE file can also be found with the following names: Shield COM Server Module; Catalyst Control Center; Yahoo! AutoUpdater; Intel Management Security Application User Notification Service; VProtect Application; and Bandoo among others (up to 99 other names). It is also a user-interactive process, which means users can activate this file's associated programs by executing this process. Filtering controls in the system allows the administrator to quickly see the clients. Password management is also possible using the Smart Shield system where the administrator is allowed to change the password on only selected clients. Radix Reload on the other hand is another application that has primarily been designed to protect business laptops and desktop computers.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. shieldclnt.exe. is used by Shield Client Service, If you shut down shieldclnt.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
