The sethook.exe process is a part of an application named MediaFACE which has the function of making labels in media. It is also known to be as MediaFACE Hook Application under the designer Fellowes. It is considered to be not an essential process of Windows. It may be considered a legitimate program however it is not required that this be run automatically during the booting of the Windows. This process normally exists in the system due to an installation of a certain software or application in the system, such as games. It location can be found in a sub directory folder under C:\Program Files\Fellowes\MediaFACE 4.0\. It has a hidden window and can be safely removed by utilizing the control panel under “Add/Remove Programs”. It is only considered to be 17% dangerously unsecured. This process porvides images and pictures in the background which can be grouped categorically. Basically, its function is to create labels and Inserts for CD/DVD and also Mini CD

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. sethook.exe. is used by MediaFACE Hook Application, If you shut down sethook.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop sethook.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is MediaFACE Hook Application, from your system.
