The file service1.exe relates to the process Vista Session Launcher Service with unknown source or developer. A launcher service lets the user run any program as a Windows service. When executed as a service, the program runs earlier at Windows startup, even before a user has logged on. When a user ends the session, the program does not terminate but runs silently in the background. This service is ideal for command-line programs that need to run in the background with minimal user intervention, and do not have service features implemented. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. service1.exe. is used by Vista SessionLauncher Service, If you shut down service1.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop service1.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Vista SessionLauncher Service, from your system.
