The saskutil.sys file is part of the Super AntiSpyware software. Saskutil.sys ensures that the computer components are working properly together. The SYS file is necessary for the Super Antispyware software to perform the functionalities that goes with the software. Super Antispyware detects and remove spyware and other malicious files that collect information on the online activity of the user without his or her knowledge. The SYS file provides a direct interface where the user can immediately determine which button to press. The interface consists of radio buttons from which the user can select the one appropriate for a specific activity. The buttons include Quick Scan, Complete Scan, Critical Point Scan and Custom Scan. The software may not be able to monitor real viruses, but it is capable of deleting a number of computer threats and malicious files. It can also repair anything that has been damaged by malware. It can supplement any antivirus program which the user has.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. saskutil.sys. is used by Super AntiSpyware, If you shut down saskutil.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop saskutil.sys, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Super AntiSpyware, from your system.
