What is  saservice.exe

The saservice.exe process is an executable component file included with the other program files, DLL modules and system drivers that are required by the McAfee SiteAdvisor software, which is a program classified as a Web browser plugin designed with a set of features for extending the functionalities of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and other supported Web browsers for Windows-based systems by adding site security rating processes and secure Web search functions to these compatible Web browsers. The saservice.exe process is bundled with the installer distribution packages of the McAfee SiteAdvisor plugin for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and other Web browsers, which also means the saservice.exe process is installed in the system upon the installation of the McAfee SiteAdvisor Web browser plugin. The saservice.exe file is particularly deployed as the SAService Application module, which is a process built into the McAfee SiteAdvisor plugin.
