Named as McAfee Rogue System Sensor, the rssensor.exe process is a Windows file and a component of ePO Rogue System Sensor or McAfee Rogue System Detection, which is a product created by McAfee. McAfee Rogue System Detection or ePO Rogue System Sensor is a security program that is installed and appears on a computer, and use the ePolicy Orchestrator of McAfee. As its name suggests, this program is able to secure the computer system threats. There are different features of this software, which include new and improved ones, such as the Local Elections, which uses a P2P election process that is able to determine the status of the sensor software, Agent Data Channel that can eliminate direct connection, Agent Handler Plug-In, and Logging. Because rssensor.exe is an important component, it is essential to keep it running in the background and remain active to provide its function for the security of the computer.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. rssensor.exe. is used by ePO Rogue System Sensor or McAfee Rogue System Detection, If you shut down rssensor.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop rssensor.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is ePO Rogue System Sensor or McAfee Rogue System Detection, from your system.
