The reset.exe process is also known as the Reset Reader or Realtek Card Reader Software. It belongs to the software USB2.0 Card Reader Software and owned by the company Realtek Semiconductor. There is not a lot of description gathered for this process. The application is not visible within the computer system and it is not a Windows system file. The process can be uninstalled from the Control Panel. The process allows the user to reset or delete a session from the terminal server. It is advisable though for the user to be aware that resetting a session without any warning can result in loss of data at the respective session. The process contains a technical security rating of 55% dangerous, which makes it of mixed reviews for the user; the user needs to be aware of the possibility that this process can contain some potential dangers that he or she needs to take immediate measures of, which can be adhered to whenever this program is being executed in order to promote security for the user’s computer system. It is advisable for the user to keep this process running within the computer system and should not be taken off, since removing it may cause the computer system to behave unpredictably.
