Pinnacle Systems has developed the software Pinnacle Media Center. The remoterm.exe file is the remote control application in Pinnacle Media Center. The Media Center provides the user with two main components namely the remote and the wireless receiver. The remote has many features which remoterm.exe provides. The remote has an IR blaster which enables it to control other devices. It can also control any Vista Certified TV tuner cards so whether the cable box or the computer is being used, TV will always be available. It also involves music, movies, among other forms of entertainment. The remoterm.exe file allows Pinnacle Media Center to capture video and television programming and watch it over the computer. Upgrading to the latest version of the Pinnacle Media Center software can enable the users to continuously view video over the computer. Outdated software may block the operation of the media center. Remoterm.exe provides a complete remote control solution which gives the user access to all the features of Pinnacle Media Center.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. remoterm.exe. is used by Pinnacle Media Center, If you shut down remoterm.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop remoterm.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Pinnacle Media Center, from your system.
