What is  regseeker.exe

The regseeker.exe process is simply known as RegSeeker. It is a process and software by itself. This is a registry tool that is responsible in cleaning, searching, viewing, and optimizing a user’s computer by accessing its registry. The RegSeeker is a non-system process meaning it cannot be preinstalled but has to be installed manually by the user from off the website. Installing this registry tool makes it an additional application or file entered into the computer’s registry. This does not affect the storage on the computer though since RegSeeker is not a Windows system file but having several programs or applications similar to this running at the same time can cause slow performance of the PC. This process can be found in at least three locations on a Windows computer’s folders: the “C:\Documents and Settings”, the “C:\Program Files”, and the “My Files” folder. This process does not have visible windows on task manager.

How can I stop regseeker.exe and should I?

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. regseeker.exe. is used by RegSeeker, If you shut down regseeker.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop regseeker.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is RegSeeker, from your system.
