What is  realsched.exe

Real Networks Scheduler or Application Scheduler is the name of the process that RealOne Player drivers install via the file realsched.exe. This is automatically installed on PCs when you install your RealOne Player. It is also set to automatically launch during PC boot-up. The purpose of the file is to simply notify the AutoUpdate application and Media Center program to do their jobs at specified intervals. The driver for RealOne Player does not need the file to launch the player. You can disable it from startup. However, users have noted that disabling the file from startup only results in the file installing itself once more in the startup registry so it can run with system boot-up again. Users had to resort to renaming the file and then deleting its registry entry in order to fully prevent it from executing again upon startup. The file’s typical location is C:\Program Files\Real\RealPlayer\Update\realsched.exe. and it has a size of 193.52 KB.
