The rdmpserv.exe executable file is known as RDM+ Local Service, which belongs to RDM or RDMPLocalService. This was created by SHAPE Services GmbH. It is located in “C:\Program Files” which is known to have 4 similar variants of these. Should this be located in other location, such process is suspected to be either a malware or a virus. It has neither a visible window nor considered to be a Windows system file. It utilizes ports so it may be able to gain access to the Local Area Network or the Internet. It is a remote desktop application which allows users to access the computer from mobile devices on a remote setting. It is also able to record inputs and monitor applications which means it can receive emails, surf the web and edit documents. Hence, technical security rating for this process is 71% dangerous.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. rdmpserv.exe. is used by RDM or RDMPLocalService or Setup, If you shut down rdmpserv.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop rdmpserv.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is RDM or RDMPLocalService or Setup, from your system.
