The module rarext32.dll is a context menu handler that relates to the identifier name of WinRAR 32. It is loaded by explorer.exe (Microsoft Windows Explorer), and the context menu for this file is displayed when it is clicked with the right mouse button. The context menu for rarext32.dll allows various operations to be opened from the file, like printing it or opening it with another program. It searches for a digital certificate or requests that the user approve the action when it detect the downloading of an external program that runs as part of the Windows user interface. WinRAR (32 bit) is an archive manager that is flexible, lightweight, and easy-to-use. This archiving utility can unpack most archive formats as well as compress to both ZIP and RAR, back-up data and reduce email attachments, and create new files in the ZIP and RAR formats. It has a simple interface that allows users to create or add to an archive by dragging and dropping the files in the interface, or into the Folder Tree side panel.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. rarext32.dll. is used by WinRAR 32 and Internet Explorer, If you shut down rarext32.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop rarext32.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is WinRAR 32 and Internet Explorer, from your system.
