Fujifilm has created and distributed the product FinePix Viewer. It has software that allows every user to download, organize, and edit pictures taken from the FinePix camera. In order to launch the FinePix Viewer software and bring out the functionalities which a user can manage, the user has to initialize the quickdcf2.exe file. Quickdcf2.exe is Exif Launcher 2 that is being utilized by digital cameras like the Fuji FinePix camera. Exif stands for exchangeable image file format. It is a standard that determines the formats to be used in the images, sounds and ancillary tags made by digital cameras, scanners and other systems managing images and audio files. The quickdcf2.exe file enables for the Exif data to be edited. These data involve the information embedded in the image which the camera has taken or any software that can edit photos. Quickdcf2.exe works on Exif which comprises image file specification and audio file specification.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. quickdcf2.exe. is used by Fuji FinePix Viewer, If you shut down quickdcf2.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop quickdcf2.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Fuji FinePix Viewer, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.

Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
