The file quickcam.exe is described as LogitechQuickCamRibbon that belongs to the software Logitech Quick Cam. It is installed with various Logitech webcam products and is functional in controlling the tray icon and is responsible for producing the Quick Cam ribbon through which the user controls the video effects and privacy shades. Quick cams or webcams evolved from an RS-232 connector to a parallel connector, then eventually to a USB connection, and is now one of the most popular gadgets. Logitech webcams (or Quick Cams) allow users to chat face-to-face and allows the whole family or groups to join in on video calls on Skype. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. quickcam.exe. is used by Quick Cam, If you shut down quickcam.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop quickcam.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Quick Cam, from your system.
