Pronomgr.exe is the file executable for Intel PROSet, the wireless software used in wireless networks powered by Intel Corporation. Pronomgr.exe provides flexibility and freedom in an Internet connection without requiring network cables or phone lines. Pronomgr.exe has many valuable features for both desktop and laptop computers. Firstly, it provides excellent security right from installation as it has built-in standard protocols for a wireless industry, making the network completely manageable to users. Secondly, pronomgr.exe provides installation option of Administrator tool, such as centralization of driver and application settings, as well as wireless LAN connection profiles. Its GUI or graphical user interface makes the software easy to use, as the user gets an overview of the wireless LAN environment status. Thirdly, it is the capacity for backwards compatibility as well as the compatibility with the new technology. Upon installation of the software, it runs active in the background of the Windows Registry and automatically activates upon system boot up.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. pronomgr.exe. is used by Intel Network Configuration Services, If you shut down pronomgr.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop pronomgr.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Intel Network Configuration Services, from your system.
