The nvdkit.exe module is a type of executable file called as Client Automation Tcl Runtime, which is a component of the application HP Backup and Recovery Manager or simply known as HP Backup and Recovery, also in Radia Management Agent or HPCA Management Agent, a product software created by Hewlett-Packard (HP) Company. HP Backup and Recovery Manager permits a user to basically back up and recover his or her computer hard drive on Windows. When launched, this software is automatically processed to backup all files and applications stored in the hard disk, but can be also manually operated. Other than that, a user can optionally schedule when to backup and to recover contents of his or her PC hard drive, archive files separately, and copy them to CDs or DVDs. Because nvdkit.exe is one of the important components of the software, disabling or deleting it may not enable HP Backup and Recovery Manager.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nvdkit.exe. is used by HP Backup and Recovery, If you shut down nvdkit.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop nvdkit.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is HP Backup and Recovery, from your system.
