The nssstub.exe process is an executable component file implemented by the Norton Security Scan software, which is an application classified as a system security program that was designed by Symantec with a set of integrated features for monitoring, detecting and protecting Windows-based systems against data security threats and malicious applications like viruses, spyware items, Trojans and worms among other programs that can compromise the security of data stored in the computer and the stability of the system. The nssstub.exe process is activated by the Norton Security Scan software whenever it needs to implement certain functionalities that are associated to the nssstub.exe process and the modules it corresponds to.
