The file nsengine.exe is decsribed as NovaBACKUP Engine for the application Nova BACKUP 8.0 that is developed by NovaStor Corporation. This process is an executable file in the application, which is backup software for laptops, desktop PCs, servers, and virtual machines. Backup software is computer programs that create the exact copies of databases, files, or entire computers for providing a supplementary copy in the event of data loss. The software NovaBACKUP is a family of three products designed to fit individual clients and small business enterprises. Nova BACKUP provides single workstation backup that will meet the needs of individual clients, while NovaBACKUP Server provides single server protection for small businesses. NovaBACKUP Business Essentials for small business provides complete protection with advance functionalities that include protection of SQL and Exchange servers. Other functionalities built into the software are direct streaming to optical devices including Blu-Ray, improved built-in disaster recovery support for USB devices, and a feature called smart select for data protection by files type, for example music, photos, and documents.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nsengine.exe. is used by NovaBACKUP, If you shut down nsengine.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop nsengine.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is NovaBACKUP, from your system.
