The negui.exe process is an executable file called as NetExtender GUI Client, which is a part of SonicWALL SSL-VPN NetExtender software, a product created by SonicWALL, Inc. SSL-VPN NetExtender is a web-based application, without requiring administrators, to pre-install a fat client on any remote workstation, but a browser to access email, programs, files, and even websites. Another feature of NetExtender is to create a virtual adapter to provide a secure point-to-point access to shared or allowed host within the internal network. NetExtender GUI Client is designed to provide a simple way on how to access and monitor the network. Therefore, the negui.exe module is an important file that has to run in the background of a computer system. This does not only execute its primary function, but also makes up the software that supports it. If the file is deleted or stopped, the SonicWALL SSL-VPN NetExtender application may not properly work.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. negui.exe. is used by SonicWALL SSL-VPN NetExtender, If you shut down negui.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop negui.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is SonicWALL SSL-VPN NetExtender, from your system.
