MxUp is the service name of the process mxup.exe, an instance of an executable or EXE file, and is a part of the program Maxthon2 Browser, which is a software product developed by Maxthon International Ltd. The Maxthon2 Browser software is a type of tabbed browser application that is intended to be installed on Windows computers, and is made to provide features for a more fun Internet activity and faster web browsing. As a component of the program, mxup.exe is considered as an essential module that needs to continuously run in the background, and must not be terminated or deleted, so it does not disable its particular tasks. However, if the mxup.exe file is causing problems that does not only affect the program that houses it, but also the performance of the system, this process can be removed. If no errors or problems at all, mxup.exe has to run in the background of a computer system, particularly Microsoft Windows Operating System.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. mxup.exe. is used by Maxthon2 Browser, If you shut down mxup.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
