What is  mresp50.sys

The mresp50.sys file is a component of software MRESP50 NDIS Protocol Driver or BT Wireless Connection Manager. Printing Communications Association, Incorporated (PCAUSA) has developed the system driver file. Network Driver Interface Specification (NDIS) is an application programming interface (API) for network interface cards (NICs). NDIS is a set of functions which simplifies the NIC hardware and acts as an interface for level 3 network protocol drivers and Media Access Control drivers. NDIS has been developed together by Microsoft and 3Com Corporation. PCAUSA, on the other hand, provides samples of advanced Microsoft Windows filter and protocol drivers and consulting services to those who uses applications like these. PCAUSA products are referenced Windows device drivers and companion user-mode components which is not included in the Microsoft Windows Driver Kit. NDIS Protocol Driver is one of the products which PCAUSA specializes on. This protocol driver uses the mresp50.sys file that makes the application functional even though it is just a sample of the Windows protocol driver.
