The mpservic.exe process is an executable file that is used by the firmware components and device driver software utilities of certain printers and AIO (All-In-One) machines included in the Canon MultiPass Series line of office productivity tools. These Canon MultiPass AIO devices deploy these firmware distributions and driver software utilities in order to correctly implement its embedded functionalities into the Windows-based system upon user request, and the mpservic.exe process assists these firmware components and drivers in communicating with the Windows system, certain built-in programs, some third party applications and related hardware devices that are integrated into the motherboard of the Windows-based computer. The mpservic.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of these Canon MultiPass AIO device drivers and firmware utilities, which also means the mpservic.exe process is bundled into the installer distributions of these Canon MultiPass firmware components and drivers.
