The kodakccs.exe process is an executable program file that is used by the Kodak EasyShare software, which is a Windows application that comes bundled with certain Kodak digital camera models. The kodakccs.exe process is also used by the firmware distributions and device driver software packages of certain Kodak digital cameras, specifically as a major component of the Kodak DC File System Driver module, which is an applet built into associated Kodak digital camera device driver software resources and firmware components. The kodakccs.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Kodak EasyShare application or these Kodak digital camera firmware distributions and driver software packages, which also means the kodakccs.exe process is implemented into the installers of these programs for widely used versions of Microsoft Windows. The Kodak EasyShare application is integrated with a set of tools for quickly and easily synching supported Kodak digital cameras with Windows-based computers.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. kodakccs.exe. is used by Kodak EasyShare and Kodak DC File System Driver Module, If you shut down kodakccs.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
