What is  killvbs.vbs

The killvbs.vbs process is a Visual Basic script file that has been reported by many users as a malicious application with Trojan and virus-like functionalities. The same user reports claim that the killvbs.vbs file can automatically initialize during system startup, and some users state that this is because of certain registry keys and entries the killvbs.vbs script can create and inject into the Windows System Registry upon its successful placement and activation the Windows-based system. The same users also reported that, upon the successful initialization of the killvbs.vbs script during system startup, this malicious program then proceeds to operate in the background without user consent, in order to tap vulnerable TCP/IP network ports as a gateway for communicating with remote servers that are operated and managed by its authors. These users state that the killvbs.vbs process, upon initiating contact with these Web servers, then downloads more malware programs unto the system and opens these unprotected or unsecure TCP/IP network ports for potential covert third party access.
