Digitally signed by Microsoft Windows, ialmnt5.sys is the system file for Intel Graphics Miniport Driver, a 32-bit and 64-bit dynamic linked library or DLL of code of components for digital image processing. The Intel Graphics Miniport Driver is a hardware-driver, a component of the Windows Driver Model. The Windows Driver Model or WDM are universal serial bus or USB, audio, network and SCSI card adapters. These drivers are used in Windows 2000 and Windows 98. They are hardware-specific, yet their control access on hardware is dependent on a specific bus driver. The Intel Graphics Miniport Drive is among the critical components of Intel Graphics Media which is responsible for input and output management, resource management, and memory mapping. Intel Graphics Miniport Drive provides interface through graphics memory request allocation as well as de-allocation from the Graphics Memory Manager. The Graphics Memory Manager is a separate DLL or Dynamic Link Library, but is a subcomponent for each driver entity.
