The hostoe.dll file is the process called Zango that is used by the application Zango created by Zango. A DLL [dynamic link library] file is a program that has functions that can be used by other applications. It can hook itself into other running process to alter or control their behavior. The hostoe.dll file is not a visible process. It is not a core file for Windows. It can record inputs. Zango is formerly known as Hotbar, ePIPO and 180 solutions. This software company provides users access to games, tools, videos and others offered by its partners when the user views targeted advertising on their computers in exchange for these utilities. Zango content includes comedy, sports, online games, erotic videos, dance and screensavers. Adware is software supported by advertising. It shows advertisements automatically for its author to earn revenue. These ads may show up on the program user interface or on the screen while the user installs the program.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hostoe.dll. is used by Zango or Hotbar, If you shut down hostoe.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop hostoe.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Zango or Hotbar, from your system.
