The hostcontrolservice.exe process is an executable file that pertains to Host Control Application, which is a part of Broadcom CV Host Component, also known as Broadcom USH Host Components, and created by Broadcom Corporation. Host Control Application, hostcontrolservice.exe, provides extra configuration options as well as support for the computer system. Once the Broadcom CV Host Component software is installed, the file is also downloaded and located in the folder C:\Program Files. If all the components including this file are downloaded, the primary function of the software works. During the startup of the Windows, the hostcontrolservice.exe file executes itself to launch the program.
