The hiroclient.exe file is the process called Hiro Client & Codec that is used by the application Hiro Client developed by Hiro Media. This program uses an icon on the taskbar. This process file has a digital signature certified by VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer. It is not a system process. It monitors or controls other programs and records inputs. HIRO Media is an advertising and cross-platform server for professional online videos. It supports TV advertising in online environment. HIRO utilizes survey system to determine the demographic information of users. This information supports TV such as demo targeting for online functions. Its advertising system enables multiple distribution network including P2P, streaming and download. Cross platform supports mobile, broadband, IPTV and others. The online video ad server aggregates and measures targeting data and integrates with video syndication demands and campaign parameters.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hiroclient.exe. is used by Hiro Client, If you shut down hiroclient.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop hiroclient.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Hiro Client, from your system.

After uninstalling applications it is a good idea to scan you Windows registry for any left over traces of applications. Registry Reviver by ReviverSoft is a great tool for doing this.
