The hdbho.dll file is a process that serves as BHO [browser helper object] component of the product HiDownload created by StreamingStar. HiDownload serves as download manager to let you capture video and audio streams and download files from the Internet. The hdbho.dll file is a module that lets the program integrate with Internet Explorer browser. A DLL [dynamic link library] file is a program that has functions that can work with other programs. It has a mechanism for shared code and data that can be used by different applications at the same time that means it can be reused or organized into a module to save disk space and memory. A DLL file is easy to install and arrange. A BHO automatically runs when you launch the Internet browser. The hdbho.dll file can alter or monitor your Internet Explorer browser. It is not a system process.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. hdbho.dll. is used by HiDownload, If you shut down hdbho.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop hdbho.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is HiDownload, from your system.
