The handyfind.exe file is the process called HandyFind Utility that is used by the application HandyFind created by handykeys.com. This program can alter or control the behavior of other applications. It is not a system process. This program does not use a visible window. It runs when you boot Windows. The registry key for this process is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. The handyfind.exe process can record inputs. HandyFind is a tool that lets you search for words as you type on Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Notepad and other applications. Yon don’t need to scroll around or use Find dialog. It is compatible with Windows XP, 2000, NT and Vista. You can choose the text that you want to search and immediately jump into its next occurrence. You can click on hyperlinks using your keyboard. You can use this program in applications that do not have a Find dialog.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. handyfind.exe. is used by HandyFind, If you shut down handyfind.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop handyfind.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is HandyFind, from your system.
