What is hamachi.exe
Hamachi Client is the service name of the process hamachi.exe, and is a component of the program Hamachi or LogMeIn Hamachi, which is developed by LogMeIn Inc., or Applied Networking. LogMeIn Hamachi is basically associated with the remote control and virtual private network or VPN software by LogMeIn. The file hamachi.exe is an instance of a Windows file, for both 32-bit and 64-bit, and definitely works with most versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, which include Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME. Once the software is installed onto the computer, hamachi.exe is launched by another file, which is explorer.exe, which is known as Windows Explorer by Microsoft Corporation, and automatically run in the background. The hamachi.exe file is digitally signed by LogMeIn, Inc. - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer, and makes it a legitimate file, so it needs to remain running in the background.
