The file guardicq.ee, known as GuardMailRu Module, belongs to software GuardMailRu by LLC Mail.Ru. The process GuardMailRu is a component of the application Mail.ru, which provides Internet services and free email service. It is the first publicly available Internet-based Russian language email service, which includes instant messaging and access to the social networking site Odnoklassniki. The main services offered by the application Mail.ru includes Blog.mail.ru for blogs, File.mail.ru for file hosting services, Mail.ru for instant messaging services, Games.mail.ru for online games, and My.mail.ru for social networking. The instant messaging agent Mail.ru Agent is integrated to Moi Mir@Mail.Ru and the blog hosting service Blogs@Mail.Ru. The Agent can also be used to access online games that include large multiplayer games and mini game applications in the social network Mir@Mail.Ru. Mai.Ru Agent is available to users of Windows, Mac, and the mobile platforms Symbian, Java, iPhone, windows Mobile, and Android.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. guardicq.exe. is used by GuardMailRu, If you shut down guardicq.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop guardicq.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is GuardMailRu, from your system.
