It improves the functions, usability and performance of wireless communications by means of connectivity solutions such as WLAN, 3G and 4G HSPA/LTE. Option works with retailers, mobile operators, enterprise customers and OEMs to create secure and connected services.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gtflashswitch.exe. is used by GT HSDPA driver installer, If you shut down gtflashswitch.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
