What is  gopfa.dll

A lot of users flag the process gopfa.dll as a malware. It registers as a trojan downloader to a number of antivirus programs such as in Microsoft Security Essentials and Symantec (Norton). This specific Trojan Downloader creates desktop shortcuts for online poker sites (vip casino.url), as well as pharmaceutical (cheap pharmacy.url) and other search sites (search online.url). The same process was also reported to send installation status to the Web site 'megauplinkbindinstaller.com’ and connects to ‘gothotvidtosee.com’ to further download other malicious files. The presence of the file gopfa.dll allows the change in key registry HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\TypeLib\{15C7D7AD-A87A-4C0D-9D8B-637FCD3488EF}. Upon deployment of the file into the system, it creates random DLL files into the Windows subfolder such as rfg.dll, lsystipl64.dll, and gaxstc.dll. It also allows the deployment of the modified DLL files as a Web BHO. It can also add new registry value and data. The process gopfa.dll is a high risk malware recognized by most antivirus programs that poses threat to the security and privacy of the user.
