The global.exe process is an executable file that belongs to a group of applications reported by many users as malicious programs. Most of these user reports claimed that the global.exe file is a virus that can infect Microsoft Windows systems. Other user reports stated that the global.exe process is part of an adware program that displays pop-up advertisements using the default Web browser when active. A few of these user reports claimed that the global.exe file belongs to a malicious application with spyware-like capabilities because their system security tools detected data collection and network transmission capabilities in the global.exe process when active. Some users stated that the global.exe process is used by its authors to exploit backdoor system vulnerabilities in order to gain access to infected Windows-based computers and gather private information and confidential data, then transmit it to predesignated servers on the Internet without the user's consent.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. global.exe. is used by Adware/Trojan/Spyware/Virus, If you shut down global.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop global.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Adware/Trojan/Spyware/Virus, from your system.
