It is free application for the downloading of files that is designed especially for users of the General World website. It integrates with most of the popular Web browsers like Internet Explorer, FireFox, Opera, and Google Chrome, and can be used as a general download manager. General Downloader supports premium accounts in file-hosting websites, allowing users with premium accounts in these sites to download without any restrictions. The application has a built-in Web-analyzer that detects the download links on the source website while the user is surfing its pages.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. gencrawl.dll. is used by General Downloader, If you shut down gencrawl.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
