The file geede.dll is a process that belongs to a rogue antispyware program. The file geede.dll is a direct link library (DLL) file that installs as a browser helper object (BHO) that proceeds to download fraudulent messages into the system. It displays a popup window that advises the user of an infection in the system, and offers a free scan to determine the extent of infection. Once the user agrees and clicks on the free scan, this malware produces a fraudulent report, which states that the system is infected. It then proceeds to offer to remove the infection if the user will purchase the software. The rogue antispyware program reports false infections, displays various fake security alerts, and scares the user into thinking that the computer is infected with malware in order to trick him into purchasing the full version of the rogue antispyware. It employs fraud in order to mislead the user into paying for fake or simulated removal of malware.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. geede.dll. is used by Rogue anti-spyware, If you shut down geede.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop geede.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Rogue anti-spyware, from your system.
