The file geebc.dll is a process that relates to malware Trojan.WinFixer.Process, which is a family of rogue security programs developed by WinSoftware. It is known to infect systems using the Microsoft Windows operating system, and the common sources of infection are the fake codec scam from the Emcodec.E Trojan, and the use of the Vundo family of Trojans. Once installed in the system, WinFixer frequently launches annoying popups, and then prompts the user to follow its directions. This malware intricately installs into the host computer and makes numerous registry edits to prevent its removal from the system. WinFixer is closely related to Aurora network's Nail.exe hijacker/ spyware program, and with the Vundo Trojan. Severe WinFixer infection involves the malware embedded in Internet Explorer and becoming part of the program, making it nearly impossible to remove. WinFixer is also known under various names, which include WinAntiSpy, WinAntiVirusPro, WinReanimator, and WinspywareProtect.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. geebc.dll. is used by WinFixer, If you shut down geebc.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
